I have to say that while I DO like the idea of Christmas, I do find any kind of enforced Xmas/New Year's jollity to be a particularly grim ordeal. Love the idea of good friends and family round the fire, but Slade/party hats/drunken dancing/rubbish mass produced food are just mehhh.
In fact any occasion where you are not allowed to not enjoy yourself is meh.
Only you, Patrick, could do a Heart of Darkness reference in relation to Christmas ;-)
Its the first day of my leave today and so far I have
Stayed in bed until half nine Had two breakfasts Drunk 5 cups of tea Had a bath and watched in slight horror as my belly moved about 'on its own' Got dressed at midday.

I shall need to fumigate myself when I get home.

I don't know if the burglar will be there, mambo, it depends if he is still sleepy.
To be a fly on the wall!
I was wasted on my xmas do the other week. Don't think it mattered as everyone else was too wasted to notice!
