Those who haven't yet seen it....

THIS is the new England away kit.
WHY does it look like it was designed in 1998?
WHY is there that much blue on it
WHY are there red numbers on the shorts?
WHY does it generally just look shite?
Terrible. Just terrible.
Grrrr......

and WHY does it look like a training kit?

Very very dissapointed. You'd have thought Umbro would have put some thought into it. Or just leave it alone co there's nothing wrong with the one we have!

It's nice to see the team practising penalties though, so that if we end up getting to the semi finals of Euro 2008 and it's goalless after 120 minutes we'll be sure to go thr...oh. Yes. Forgot.

The new kit has at least distracted MY attention away from the fact that we don't even HAVE any meaningful away matches for CENTURIES.

This show the England team practising "Penalties- Lesson 1- Hitting the target".

Next week is lesson 2, "How it is more difficult with a goalkeeper trying to stop you and that"

I am sure diddy fiddy will be begging for one as soon as he is able, despite the rubbishness of it

Lesson 4. "How penalties can be REALLY hard if you're CRAP- Guest lecturers G Southgate and C Waddle"

Hey Fids!

When is Jack going to be up for a kick about? I was planning on showing off my silky skills, which tends to work best with VERY small children. Children who can barely walk at all find my "nutmeg" particularly baffling and unstoppable.

He'd love a kick about. He has just been training with Murray, and made him look particularly rubbish. Not bad for a 17 day old

Murray got upset when Jack gave him a particularly stern look. He said "give me Roder any day"

Most importantly, did Murray have FUN? If Murray doesn't have all the fun he needs, he can sometimes sulk and refuse to play nicely.

Fiddy and a Half said...

No he didn't have fun. He threw himself on the floor and pounded it with his fists then took the ball and flounced off.

Guess if you are a bit rubbish it must happen all the time. My nephew gets like that because he is not very good at sums

How are ya Fids? How's the little fella?

I'm not too bad Northy - I have a terrible addiction to daytime telly and I get very little sleep. I can only assume that daytime telly is made with the sleep deprived in mind. The little fella is a star bless him.

Day time tv rots the brain!
Is the lad sleeping well or awake every time you're drifting off?

Fiddy and a Half said...

He sleeps well during the day, at night he is awake despite my best efforts. He is just not complying with baby manuals.
