These chaps in Delhi are actually protesting AGAINST VD (Valentine's Day), and appear to be symbollically burning an effigy of a errrrr....Valentine's card.
Something tells me that none of them received cards in this morning's post, and that they are feeling sore about it. Presumably they had to buy the card they are now burning, thereby (ironically) encouraging the general commercialisation of this day.
If I had known about this event, I would have bought a super saver single bitter single person's return flight to Delhi, bought myself a natty orange scarf and joined in.
