Taylor next, coitainly, but we've got until the end o fthe month to sign him....I didn't realise that the deadlines for the loan extensions is 12 noon TODAY.
So the best noos is to hear that we're keepipng Ched today, and then hope that permanent signings of taylor and Pattison follow
Good news Caley. Definite no to Jimmy Smith, which doesn't bother me too much. For some reason Roeder has been playing him on the right instead of Croft, but Crofty I reckon has earned his place back well and gives us much more anyway. Pattison is much more important to us.
Chris Brown may be on the way. I think he has always worked hard, and you can't fault his attitude, but I just don't think he's good enough. We do need more striking options now....GET CHED!
I don't think his free kicks (the ones that are immediately outside the penalty box) have been that great either, none that I've seen anyway. But overall he seems good and i hope we sign him.
What do you all make of the news that Joe Lewis might be leaving for Peterborough? With PG having left and Gilks injured, looks like we're still gonna be short a goalie. Plus we might be letting a future star out of our grasp. (It is good news that we've signed Matty, dunno about the Chelski new boy)
Not too bothered about Lewis. I agree he seems to be a great prospect, but I think GK is one area where we seem to have adequate cover, and I'm sure Lewis would just be miserable kicking his heels as our third keeper. If we can get half a million odd for him, I think we could use that money for positions that I think need strengthening. That may be short termist, but then until that Thai Billionaire NCFC supporter comes out of the woodwork we will always be boxing and coxing.

My only criticism about pattison is that he has been taking all of our corners....and I've yet to see him take a vaguely decent one.

He's a combative ball winner, a positive passer and works really hard. He defo gets the ITB vote.
To be fair ive only seen a handfull of soon corners and free kicks in the last 5 years!
Mulryne was the last good dead ball player we had.
soon = good in punka land
Afternoon lads and lasses.
Told yer dint I? Hmmmmm

Who is Ryan bertrand? Is he good? What posish? Loan or permanent?
Aha, a young left back who's been on loan at Oldham....

Good news indeed.
Roeder is the MAN.

and i just saw on sky sports news - hucks voted pfa fans' player of the month? EH?
Hey Wumus!
That is VERY odd....are you sure you've got the year right for Hucks award, and that it is for 2007 and not 2003?
these are the same people that vote ronaldo for player of the year though isn't it?
