Apparently it was a controversial sending off, but those f***ing useless f***w***s at the BBC only showed it once on their round up so I couldn't really tell if it was a valid red card or not, looked like it to me.
Burnley's red card looked very harsh to me... the guy was in possession of the ball, just lunged to try and keep it, and made contact with the ball although only just. Wouldn't accuse Gilberto of cheating though, at least there was contact, unlike several other fouls over the weekend.
it was never a red :-/ he caught mendes a bit late - to be fair to mendes it did injure him which is why he went down like he did (he was taken off at half-time) and ipswich definitely deserved at least a draw.
Poor Fids...at least you're not at WORK. I hate January and February. Cold, wet , miserable, no Xmas break to look forward to, spring and summer seemingly years away....
Still on the plus side, I see we might be signing someone called James Brown, to bolster our pop star namey-likies in the event of Chris Martin's departure.
