...this is the Cypriot Baghdatis, who I think is rather ugly and I THINK looks quite a lot like Hucks, and not just because of the dodgy haircut and facial fur.

I think you might be doing Baghdatis a bit of a disservice there - Hucks is marginally uglier.
They are both rather....swarthy looking....
