I can't work it out.
This is a photo of one of the Securitas robbers. They've obviously spent a lot of time on the disguise...they've got the uniform, the hat, the natty day-glo jacket and even the authentic radio at the left shoulder.
But somehow, this get up just doesn't say "Copper" to me, and if I saw someone dressed up like this I probably wouldn't ask him for directions to the post office.
I wonder if it might have something to do with the stocking over his head?

LOL - they were the thickest robbers ever weren't they? Did they try to pay in their ill gotten gains into their building society? Mind, if you do steal £50 million its good to TRY to get the best rate of interest on it isn't it?

Yes, I think they actually broke TWO records, the first being for the biggest ever heist, a second for the speed with which they were all rounded up.
It wasn't the fact that they tried to pay the money into their post offices that aroused suspcion, it was the fact that they were still carrying guns with ladies' hosiery over their faces.
Having SAID that, thirty million is still missing and they still haven't caught one of them, so at least one of them may have some brains.
I reckon he'll probably resurface in a couple of years and try and buy a premiership football club.
What's to say he hasn't already.

The FA aren't that fussy these days, it has to be said. Like that guy Thaksin at Citeh, wanted back in Thailand for all sorts of corruption and human rights charges.
But if you turn up at the FA with a smart suit and a big suitcase of cash, you're OKAY.
