Shocking news...

... women in labour have been turned away from the Norfolk and Norwich hospital because the delivery suite is full. This woman was told to go to Great Yarmouth. Its one thing to have Yarco on the poor kid's birth certificate, but image if they tried to make me go to Ipswich? Wouldn't that violate my unborn baby's human rights? Would giving birth in my Norwich City strip make up for this? I'm VERY concerned...

eeek! though to be fair they probably turned the mother away for looking like leonard nimmoy. she's uglier than the majority of the norwich first team ;-)

Thing is Melly you can only have gas an air as pain relief if you have your baby at home. I was rather hoping that they would give me some of their lovely drugs... mind, I'd need a hell of a sedative if I end up in Ipshit...

Ah yes lots of drugs needed, anything you can get. My sister had a home birth for her third child and she much prefered it! She must have been used to the pain by the third time.

You can have the little'un in my factory NB. We have loads of room, it's well insulated so no-one will hear you scream, and we have loads of solvents which you can sniff instead of those nasty drugs.

And it's not in bloody suffolk. Or Yarmouth.

Bernie I'll bear your generous offer in mind. Does it mean I have to call the little one Bernie (or Bernadette?)

As long as you fit "Hexeal" in to the name somewhere I'll be happy NB. Can't beat a bit of free advertising.....
