Right,
As I have mentioned before I am out of the office a fair bit at the moment and have no internet access at home at present as my laptop has had to be sent away for repair...
I think we managed to miss predicting on the Leicester game, unless someone can point me to a predictions thread as I cannot see it.
I am out the rest of this week too so will tie the thread for these two games together. However with the transfer window closing on Thursday folk can wait until then to post their Preston predictions if they want. I will check on Friday to note all predictions so there is no cheating!
I will go for 2-2 v Saints and 2-1 yellas against Preston. What say you??

10-0 to Saints
I think I should get weighted scoring rights, so that on the day when my boat (finally) comes in and we get thumped 10-0 I get one HUNDRED MILLION points....
*puts little finger to mouth and looks mad*
Ha!
The others are too SCARED to predict anymore, especially with the new weighted scoring system.
Righty. Um.
Southampton away isn't our favourite fixture is it? And we still look a little light on the striker front. so 2-0 to the dirty Saints.
HOWEVER Preston's away form looks dodgy (depite beating Derby at the weekend, but then ANYONE can beat Derby at the mo) so I reckon we'll sneak a little win there - 2-1 to the mighty yellow.
And can I just say that I am top of the league, yes I am top of the league ;-)
*is not scared of Patrick*
Pah!
Tis true my promotion push has somewhat lost its steam, thanks to that pesky Glenn Roeder and his so-called "ten game unbeaten run in the league".
>:¬(
Did you see the Green 'un supplement in the EDP yesterday? It was all very pro Roeder. They reckon on his current points per game total if he'd been our manager since August we would now be FIFTH in the table.
Sounds good...and it also says that if Grant were still at the helm, we would actually have a NEGATIVE points tally, and that everybody involved in English football would be pointing and laughing at us.
If Grant were still here, I would still be top of the predictions table....
*misses Grant. A teeny, tiny, teeny-weeny bit...and only because of the predictions league....other than that good riddance*
If he'd have stayed, you might have been on for a few five pointers Patrick, we could easily have lost 10-0 to a few teams, especially if we'd have had to use ALL Grant's signings.
But he didn't.
So you loose, Mister Reaper ;-)
I am going for 0-0 for Saints match
1-0 to the yellas against Preston please
I actually think we will beat Saints tonight! They've conceded even more goals than we have, they played on Saturday so are not as rested as us, they're managerless which can't be great for morale, they're probably settling for mid table mediocrity whereas we are battling hard for survival, our form is better than theirs, they are one of the few teams we DID beat earlier in the season when we were shite etc etc etc.
I am sticking with my 10-0, but reckon we will sneak a 1-0 win against Saints
hmm i think 1-1 against saints and 2-1 to us against preston
2-1 to saints :(
1-0 Yellas
:)
5-0 on both counts. (to us)
I think we'll nick it 1-0 against Saints, and give Preston a 3-0 stuffing!!
;)
