Mad as a bike

Poor old Britney. I almost feel sorry for her.
Almost.

Under the influence of unknown substances and stretchered away by police and the men in white coats.

She really knows how to win those awkward child custody battles, doesn't she?

her new single is bloody good though!

I haven't heard it.

She could write the best pop song ever made with the most fantastic video and the sexiest backing dancers.

But that would still not distract attention away from the fact that she has gone completely pyjamas.

I do feel sorry for her. She's falling (fallen) apart and the media should leave her the hell alone and let her try to pick things up in private. It sickened me to see people with cameras running after her ambulance on TV this morning and yes i switched off at that point.

Hey Schminie!

Looks like SOMEONE had Nazi milk in their cornflakes this morning.

Joking aside mambo, you are right. No-one deserves what she is going through. But fame is such a two edged sword. So many people like Britney want the fame, attention, cameras, headlines etc when things are going well but seem to expect privacy as a god given right when things start going badly. That may not be fair or right, but that's the way it is.

She has sort of become the very best example of the theory that money, success and fame are not everything in life.

Morning bloggers!

Its a good job I didn't fall asleep again after Mr NB went to work and only got up at 9.45 eh?

Ahem.

Britney needs help.

NB.

Have you been snoozing?

>:¬(

Shame on you.

Natural Blonde said...

Its terrible isn't it? Snoozing on full pay! I can only apologise to those of you who have to earn a living.

My alarm went off at 7.30 this am, and I cannot tell you how much I wanted to snooze.

Her mother has written a book on parenting apparently. Its not on my shelf with all the baby books (and I have quite a collection)

Patrick said...

Haha!

Ma Spears's book on parenting will no doubt appear in the Waterstone's comedy section next to "How to Defend" by G Doherty and "Hot Beauty Tips For the Over 40s" by C Blair.

Does her book include a chapter on what to do when your trailer park trash daughter goes Honey Nut Loopy?

punka.... said...

Its release has been canned after the ickle sis got preggers as well! (wasnt me!)

Patrick said...

If I were Ma Spears, I would try to make out that her book was supposed to be a guide to home decoration, but due to a typo at the printers her book came out as "Guide to Parenting" rather than "Guide to Painting"

lol.

*pours more nazi milk*

in all seriousness it just goes to show what a f****d up upbringing (enjoyed by lots of US child stars) will eventually reap.

i feel very sorry for anyone who has their childhood effectively taken away by over-ambitious parents :(

gah, dragged away by w**k again... ITB i see your point about liking the fame when it's all about money and fab life and all that and you can't just stop it all when things are going bad. But there's bad days - such as marriage breakup, occasionally being pi$$ed in public or something - that i think is ok media fodder. But when they come to total breakdown a la Britney and to a certain extent Amy Winehouse, then the media should sod off and let them get back on their own feet again. in my opinion.
