... from what they were saying on Radiow Naaafolk duing the last few games, Crofty has really hit a patch of form. We seem to be spoilt for choice in midfield these days. Good news eh?
My fave bit of commentry from Saturday was a Neil Adams classic:
"If only that had gone in the net he would have scored"
Sums up the season so far no?

Good old Crofty....and a good thing we seem to have brought that whole over-reliance on Hucks thing to an end.
How are you, H?
I'm not too bad thanks for a largely preggers lady thanks Patrick. Hows you?
I wonder how Hucks feels about not being an automatic pick these days?
It must be depressing for him. I am sure he cannot help but think back to four seasons ago when he was on fire and everyone loved him and realise that his stock has fallen badly since then, and that is partly because he's no longer a young player. In fairness to him, it must be tough to see your powers waining and to be struggling to compete with younger and hungrier players...but then I suppose Dion's example shows that a positive attitude has a lot to do with it. Saw the "Hucks to Preston" rumour and wouldn't be at all surprised if he feels he needs a change. I would defo say that his attitude and form have been suspect this season, but part of me really hopes he still has a positive future at the club and he can get his place back from Crofty....if only because he would have to play fantastically to do that.
I am very well thanks, had a lovely holiday last week, great skiing, caught up with some great friends, great food, moderate partying and feel generally reinvigorated and positive, not bad seeing as how today is the day we're all supposed to most want to kill ourselves on (apparently....).
Slightly gutted to come back and find Glenn is struggling in the transfer market. I do think the players we have have at the moment have the ability and attitude to see us safe this season.
Have you seen Fids? How is she? I asked her if the pain of childbirth was as bad as getting your willy trapped in your zip (not that you would know what that is like, obviously), and she says she imagines the pain might be "similar". If that is the case, try not to worry too much....getting your willy caught in your zip stings nastily, but it is a shock more than anything, and as long as you are able to extricate yourself carefully, it heals reasonably quickly.
I hope Hucks stays, but he can't expect to be the player he was 3 years gao!
I had a text from Fids this morning, she's OK, it seems little Jack is keenest to be awake when Max is keenest to be asleep. I think they are still looking for a compromise!
;-)
Hmmmm. Babies are notorious for many things...an ability to compromise and meet someone half way is not one of those things....
It seems that few babies have read the 'how to look after your baby manuals' that you can get too. Which seems like a oversight to me....
