Blog - meet Diddy Fiddy.
As you can see from the time of the post I hint getting much sleep :(
My waters broke 2 weeks early on Mon 14th but Jack was clearly too comfy to bother with the rest of the hard work. I spent the rest of the week in hospital being induced (ouch) but to no avail. Thurs afternoon they finally stuck me on a drip to start off the labour (again ouch) 15 hours, 3 goes at an epidural (they couldn't get the needle in) a team of midwives and surgeons, emergency theatre, slice, dice and a set of forceps later. Jack came into the world. He was a bit worse for the wear, the cord was round his neck and he had to be ventilated. His Mum and Dad were an emotional wreck by this point but were glad that he was finally out and going to be OK. Jack's face was badly bruised by the forceps, but it is now going down. Needless to say I am a bit tender and don't expect to be able to sit down comfortably until his first birthday :(
I did toy with Jack Huckerby Roder Carrow Road Kavanagh but as his daddy is a Forest fan it was a no go

Scab on diddy fiddys head is also from the Forceps. Poor love.
Hey Fids,
Congrats on the little un.
Lets hope he grows up to be a yella and not a Forest fan...
Ah, congratumundo Fids and Mr. Fids :) Sorry to hear your delivery issues were more painful than the ones I had with Amazon over the festive period ;-)
The littl'un has the definite look of a Norwich fan (and this is from an impartial observer so surely hubby can't contest that ;-)).
In all seriousness, Jack looks a right lovely Fids - muchos congratulations and love from the South Coast xx
Ah, what a lovely start to the week Fids!!
Many congrats to the 3 of you, glad little'un made it eventually!!
AWWWWSSS he's so gorgeous! Bless him.
He is defo a Norwich fan, he loves a bit of 'on the ball city' doesn't he Fids?
He looks a cracking little fella Fids. Congrats.
He's a gunna be a big lad I can tell, future Rhinos prop if ever I saw one!

Lovely to see you both safely on the blog again. When will Jack be opening his blog profile? I expect much wit and banter from the youngster.
afternoon Patrick, how's you?
A'noon chaps!
afternoon H, how are you my dear?
Alright thanks Northy. Kinda bored waiting for this little one to appear!
How long have you got now?
I bet Fiddy's little paragraph has instilled you with a sense of unease!
I'm trying not to think too much about how the little G gets out!
3 and a bit weeks in theory!
Flippin heck!
Do you feel it has gone quickly?
Generally its gone quickly but these last weeks are going really slowly!
I can imagine.
You must be excited though.
Have you.., sorry, has Rob got everything prepared yet? ;)
We are all ready - just need a baby now!

lol! Great stuff.
I'll have to pop into Blonde towers when i'm down nearer the end of the season and see the little one.
Hey Northy!
H, may I recommend Tetris? Not only will this addictive game help the hours pass, it will also give useful mental training on how to get awkwardly shaped objects in and out of particular positions.
*realises advice is SHITE*
"Doom"?
That would be great Northy!
Patrick, I will bear Tertris in mind, we do have an antique gameboy somewhere round here...
LMAO!
Fantastic advice Patrick!
Congrats Fids. I'm sure he's worth all the pain and waiting.
(and he's definatley a canary!)
I wish someone had given me the Tetris advice!! It would have made the job a lot easier :)
Forget the comfort of prayer and hard drugs!
Tetris in the one true source of happiness.
All I can say is that its like trying to fit one of those z shaped ones in to a flat row
