I'm afraid the thought of a summer dominated by tennis does not excite. The main trouble with tennis for me (especially in the men's sport) is that it tends to be pretty much dominated by one player for a boring amount of time, which for me detracts from the (very small amount of) interest in the sport. And it always seems to me that the sort of temperament required to be the Number One seed for any length of time is the patient, professional, calm, equable, unexcitable, thorough, workmanlike IE DOWNRIGHT DULL type, for eg Sampras and the Swiss bloke who is so dull i can't even remember his name, although all the girls seem to fancy him.
I just can't sit down and watch a full tennis match. The ladies spent the game grunting like they are being shafted from behind and the mens is already decided, as Federer wins EVERYTHING. In fact I would go as far to say that tennis is nearly as boring as schmicket....ever so nearly!
BTW Rafa has one hell of a bod on him! Just a shame the neck up is such a let down :(
at least, finally, there are some hotties in the women's tennis. apart from the williams sisters. and unlike kournikova, the hotties actually win matches!
the little grunts are ok melly, though i wouldn't really go so far as to say they're a turn-on. the earth shattering sharapova ones are terrible though.
