The thing I don't understand is that QPR are also said to be in for Taylor. I never understand why/how it is that clubs like QPR, with long histories of debt problems, relatively low gates (by London standards) and which are likely to be in a relegation scrap seem able to throw more money around than we can.
And why do (albeit fringe) Prem players think QPR or Coventry (administration and 10 point penalty surely looming) might be a better bet than Norwich?

Well, on the money side QPR now have some of the richest men in the world backing them... Bernie Ecclestone, Max Mosley, Flavio Briatore (F1 heads and Renault head investing together, Renault gets off scot free in espionage case, go figure)... so they can probably splurge more than we can.
Why QPR or Coventry versus us... who knows? Could it be the big city connection? QPR being in London and Coventry is a stone's throw away from Birmingham. Not that I think that's much of an excuse, NCFC is in Norwich, not exactly a field in the middle of nowhere with no facilities... and home of Lotus Cars and Delia!
Not to mention the nightlife! Some of the premiership's finest travel all the way from Sunderland to get themselves arrested in Norwich! (mentioning no names Dickson E7uhu)
haha i didn't hear about that! I haven't sampled the norwich nightlife yet :(
I think perhaps the reason we miss out sometimes is that some young footbullers might think that Norwich is a bit of backwater? Also I don't reckon we offer (comparatively) massive salaries.
However, its not all doom, we have attracted several really cracking signings of late (Dion and Marshall to name a couple)
I'm feeling WILDLY optimistic about the football!
Morning chaps!
