...absurd, laughable and downright daft things about the Darwin couple's attempt to defraud insurers. They seem to have bungled and mismanaged a plan that was always pretty shite to start with, and have shown a rare degree of stupidity. The only think that amazes me is that John Darwin didn't actually contrive to drown himself while setting up his own bogus drowning.
As an example, I love THIS photo of John Darwin just released by Plod. I mean, if I were to decide to melt into the background for a few years, I would NOT think that disguising myself as Rasputin/George bernard Shaw/half of ZZ Top would be the way to throw off suspciion.
